Unicorn Academy for Business is a white label service of Unicorn Private LLC for brokers, crypto exchanges, digital banks and trading apps: it runs knowledge and appropriateness tests and financial training for their customers, under the client's brand and in 16 languages. Compliance, onboarding and product teams use it inside their own processes; the assessment and its outcome stay with the client.
Four packages, each one includes everything in the previous one. Prices in US dollars, taxes excluded. Monthly with card, cancel any time; annual costs 10 months.

Beyond the limits, no hard stop
Each verified user beyond the ones included costs $1.50, in every package. The $50 welcome credit is used first (valid 90 days). On Free the card is asked only when usage passes the credit; on paid packages the card of the subscription is used. No package is unlimited.
A verified user is a different person who completes at least one live test in a calendar month (UTC). The same person counts once a month, however many tests they take. The test environment is never billed.

Every account also has a test environment with every category, sample data and test keys, never billed.
Unicorn Academy for Business is a knowledge assessment tool that you use inside your own onboarding and appropriateness processes. You decide how to use the results; the responsibility for any appropriateness or suitability assessment stays with you as the regulated firm. The service does not by itself ensure compliance with MiFID or any other regulation.
Questions
Can we keep records for audits?
Yes. Each attempt stores the questions shown, the answers given, the score, the test version and the language. Records are chained by hash and can be exported at any time. You choose the retention period.
Does it make us compliant?
No tool can do that alone. It gives you a documented knowledge test to use within your own appropriateness process, which remains your responsibility.
How do we get started?
Sign up with your business email: you get the Free package with 25 verified users a month, one test category and a $50 welcome credit, no card required. The test environment has every category at no charge. Choose Professional, Business or Enterprise when you need your brand, more categories, the API or more users.
What happens beyond the users included?
Nothing stops: each verified user beyond the ones included costs $1.50, in every package. The $50 welcome credit is used first. On Free we ask for a card only when usage passes the credit; on paid packages it is billed with the subscription. The dashboard warns you when you get close to the limit.
What is a MiFID II appropriateness test and how can a broker run one?
Under MiFID II (Directive 2014/65/EU, Article 25(3), applied since 3 January 2018), an investment firm that provides services other than investment advice or portfolio management must ask clients about their knowledge and experience and assess whether a product such as a CFD, a future or an option is appropriate for them. A broker can run the knowledge part with Unicorn Academy for Business: a randomized test per product category, under its brand, embedded with one script or the REST API, with every attempt recorded in an audit log. How can a crypto exchange test customer knowledge under MiCA?
MiCA (Regulation (EU) 2023/1114, applicable to crypto-asset service providers since 30 December 2024) requires in Article 81 a suitability assessment that includes the client's knowledge and experience when a provider gives advice on crypto-assets or manages portfolios; many exchanges also test knowledge during onboarding as part of their own risk controls. With Unicorn Academy for Business an exchange adds a crypto knowledge test to its onboarding, under its brand and in 16 languages, with a study path for missed questions and results in the dashboard or by API.
