Unicorn Academy for Business: knowledge and appropriateness tests and financial education under your brand

The problem: a test that is easy to promise and hard to build

A useful knowledge test needs good questions for each product, random draws so answers cannot be copied, translations for every market, a way to teach users who fail, and a record that shows months later exactly what each person saw and answered.

Building this in house takes product, legal and engineering time, and it has to be maintained when products and languages change. A weak test, such as a single question or a self assessment, may not show what the client actually knows. What the service includes

• Knowledge tests by product: questions from the Unicorn Academy courses, 60 per course, drawn at random and with shuffled answers for every attempt. You choose 5 to 40 questions, the pass mark, the number of attempts and the waiting time.
• Appropriateness tests within your process: the result, with score and outcome, arrives in your systems so you can decide what to offer, warn or block according to your own policy.
• Financial education under your brand: users who do not pass get the lessons linked to the questions they missed, then can try again.
• Your brand: your name, logo and colors on every page, from Professional, and your own domain with Enterprise.
• Records for audits: every attempt is stored with date, questions, answers, score, test version and language, in a hash chained record, with PDF certificates and exports in CSV and JSON.
• 16 languages: English, Italian, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, Korean, Turkish, Indonesian, Arabic, Vietnamese and Polish.
• Test environment: every account has one with all categories, sample data and test keys, never billed.

How to use it, step by step

1. Open the site and sign up with your business email: you get Free and a test environment with every category.
2. Try the demo test to see what your users will see, then set brand, languages, categories, pass mark and attempts.
3. Add the test to your app or website with one script and your public key, a signed link, or a REST call that returns a test URL (API from Business).
4. Receive the result by signed webhook or API, with a PDF certificate and a study path for users who need more preparation.
5. Export the record of attempts whenever you need it and choose how long to keep it.

The four packages

Each package includes everything in the previous one. Monthly payment is by card and you can cancel at any time; the year costs 10 months.

Nothing stops at the limits. Each verified user beyond the ones included costs $1.50, in every package. A verified user is a different person who completes at least one live test in a calendar month, counted once however many tests they take; the test environment is never billed. The $50 welcome credit is used first, so on Free a card is needed only when usage goes past it.

What it does not do

Unicorn Academy for Business is a knowledge assessment and education tool that you use inside your own onboarding and appropriateness processes. You decide how to use the results. The service does not by itself ensure compliance with MiFID II or any other rule, and it does not give investment advice to your users.

Do I need to install anything?

No. The dashboard works in the browser and the test appears in your app or website through a script, a signed link or the API.

Do I need a card to start?

No. Free includes 25 verified users a month and one test category, with no card. The $50 welcome credit covers usage beyond the limits.

Can the tests carry our brand?

Yes, from Professional: your name, logo and colors on every page. With Enterprise the tests also run on your own domain.

Can we keep records for audits?

Yes. Each attempt stores the questions shown, the answers given, the score, the test version and the language, chained by hash and exportable at any time.

Does it make us compliant?

No tool can do that alone. It gives you a documented knowledge test to use within your own appropriateness process, which remains your responsibility.
